Thrown-On Suede Tailoring
This one is built to be worn open. It is cut from a soft faux suede with a matte, dry surface, and a button front you can fasten or simply ignore. The shoulder drops, the sleeve is wide and the hem runs straight across just past the hip, so it sits over a tee or a fine knit with no fuss. Wear it with denim or wide trousers when you want to look put together without looking dressed up.
The Details+
- Soft Faux Suede. A matte, dry-feeling surface that softens and moves with you instead of holding stiff.
- Button Front. A simple button front down a notch lapel, so it closes neatly or hangs open just as easily.
- Buttoned Cuff Tab. A small tab and button finish each cuff, which is the one piece of proper tailoring detail on it.
- Wide Sleeve, Dropped Shoulder. Roomy through the arm and shoulder, which is what gives it the relaxed, borrowed look.
- Straight Hem Past the Hip. Cuts straight across just below the hip, so it works over high-waisted jeans and wide trousers.
