A smooth, even knit with nothing on it to get in the way — a short zip at the neck, firm bands at the wrists and waist, and that is the lot. It is mid-weight rather than heavy, so it is comfortable indoors and slips under a coat without bulking up your shoulders. The collar stands up on its own and closes off the base of your neck when you zip it. Cut straight through the body, it sits easily over a shirt.
